Verde Holistic Nutrition

Personalized, science-backed nutrition, lifestyle and mindset coaching for high-performing individuals. Real Change. Lasting Results. Without extremes, guesswork or burnout.

You make thoughtful choices — eating well, staying active, managing the demands of everyday life.

Yet despite your efforts, something still feels off.

Maybe your energy isn't where you want it to be. Sleep feels inconsistent. Digestion has become unpredictable. Or perhaps your body simply isn't responding the way it used to.

These aren't random symptoms. They're valuable signals.

Your body is constantly communicating what it needs—and when we learn how to listen, meaningful change becomes possible.

I help you identify what’s actually driving your symptoms—from digestion and blood sugar imbalances to nervous system dysregulation—so you can stop guessing and start building a clear path toward lasting lasting change.

Start with Clarity

You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of your body, the confidence to make informed choices, and sustainable habits that support your long-term health.

Areas of Focus

A smarter, more integrated approach to health

  • Bloating and digestive issues aren't just surface-level annoyances—they're often signs that something deeper may be out of balance.

Digestion does far more than break down food. It influences nutrient absorption, energy production, immune function, hormone balance, and even how you feel mentally and emotionally throughout the day.

Sometimes symptoms alone don't tell the whole story. When appropriate, advanced PCR stool testing can provide a clearer picture of what's happening beneath the surface and help identify imbalances within the gut microbiome that may be contributing to your symptoms.

When digestion is functioning well, energy improves, discomfort decreases, meals become easier to enjoy, and you can move through your day feeling lighter and more energized.

Digestion and Gut Health
  • If you constantly feel wired but tired, struggle to relax, wake up during the night, or feel like you're running on empty despite your best efforts, your nervous system may be stuck in a state of chronic stress.

Because the nervous system influences how the entire body functions, lasting health requires more than nutrition alone. It requires creating the conditions that allow the body to feel safe, recover effectively, and adapt to stress more efficiently.

When your nervous system is supported, sleep becomes more restorative, energy more sustainable, digestion more reliable, and you can move through your day feeling calmer and more resilient.

Stress and Nervous System Regulation
  • If you're riding the roller coaster of energy crashes, sugar cravings, brain fog, irritability, or waking up anxious in the middle of the night, your blood sugar may be asking for attention.

Blood sugar is one of the body's master regulators. When it's out of balance, it can impact everything from your energy and mood to your hormones, metabolism, sleep, and ability to handle stress.

For women, blood sugar and hormones are constantly influencing one another. Chronic blood sugar fluctuations can contribute to insulin resistance, stubborn weight gain, irregular cycles, worsening PMS symptoms, and increased inflammation throughout the body.

When blood sugar is balanced, cravings decrease, energy becomes more consistent, mental clarity improves, hormones become more stable, and and you can move through your day feeling focused, resilient, and in control again.

Blood Sugar Balancing
  • If you're waking up tired, hitting snooze multiple times, relying on caffeine to function, or feeling exhausted despite getting enough hours in bed, your body may be asking for more support when it comes to recovery.

Sleep is one of the most powerful tools for healing and repair. It influences everything from energy, mood, and cognitive performance to hormone balance, blood sugar regulation, immune function, and recovery from exercise.

Because recovery affects nearly every aspect of health, improving sleep isn't just about getting more hours—it's about helping your body recover more efficiently.

When sleep and recovery are optimized, energy becomes more sustainable, mental clarity improves, stress feels more manageable, and you can move through your day feeling mentally clear and ready for whatever comes next.

Sleep and Recovery
  • If you've ever felt overwhelmed by nutrition advice, frustrated by restrictive diets, or confused about what healthy eating is supposed to look like, you're not alone.

The reality is that there's no single diet that's right for everyone. Your body's needs are shaped by factors like digestion, blood sugar balance, activity level, stress, sleep, and overall health.

Instead of chasing food trends or following rigid rules, we focus on creating a nutrient-dense approach to eating that works with your body—not against it.

When nutrition is personalized, eating becomes less stressful, energy becomes more stable, and you can nourish your body with confidence instead of confusion.

Personalized Nutrition
  • If you're frustrated by stubborn weight gain, constant cravings, or a body that doesn't seem to respond to your efforts anymore, you're not alone.

Weight management is rarely just about food. Digestion, blood sugar balance, hormones, sleep, stress, and nervous system health all influence how your body regulates appetite, metabolism, and energy.

Instead of chasing quick fixes, we focus on supporting the underlying systems that influence healthy weight regulation and overall well-being.

When your body is functioning optimally, maintaining a healthy weight feels less like a struggle and more like a reflection of better health.

Weight Loss Management
  • Your hormones influence nearly every aspect of how you feel—from your energy and metabolism to your mood, sleep, and stress resilience.

When they're out of balance, symptoms can show up as fatigue, stubborn weight gain, disrupted sleep, irregular cycles, worsening PMS, hot flashes, brain fog, or simply feeling unlike yourself.

Because hormones are closely connected to digestion, blood sugar balance, sleep, and nervous system function, lasting change requires a broader approach than simply treating symptoms.

When hormones are supported, energy becomes more stable, sleep more restorative, moods more predictable, and your body begins to feel strong, balanced, and fully supported again.

Hormone Health
  • Functional lab testing is available as an optional add-on and recommendations are made on an individual basis…

Symptoms tell us part of the story, but advanced testing allows us to look deeper. Depending on your needs, functional labs can provide valuable insight into digestion, hormone health, nutrient status, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, and other underlying imbalances that may be affecting how you feel.

Testing isn't always necessary, but when appropriate, it can remove much of the guesswork and help us make more informed, personalized decisions.

The goal isn't simply to gather more data—it's to gain meaningful insight, create a more targeted plan, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Holistic Nutritionist in Austin, TX — A Whole-Body Approach to Health

About Me

My path into holistic nutrition didn’t start in a classroom—it started working with the body.

For over a decade, I’ve worked hands-on with hundreds of clients in movement and bodywork. Through that work, I saw firsthand how pain, fatigue, stress, digestive issues, and other chronic concerns rarely existed in isolation. They were often connected to deeper imbalances affecting the body as a whole.

Many of the people I worked with were doing all the “right” things… yet still weren’t experiencing the results they wanted.

Twelve years ago, after working with a holistic nutritionist myself and experiencing profound shifts in my own health and lifestyle, I became fascinated by the role nutrition plays in how we feel, function and age. That experience ultimately led me to study holistic nutritional therapy and adopt a more integrated approach to health.

Because you can’t out-train, out-supplement, or out-discipline a body that’s out of balance.

Meet the holistic nutritionist behind Verde — over a decade of hands-on client work, rooted in science and a whole-body approach to lasting health. Serving Austin, TX & virtually.

Because feeling good isn’t a mystery – it’s a method.

GLP-1 SUPPORT

Using GLP-1 Medications?

Don't lose muscle, energy, or long-term results.

A strategic, personalized approach to help you support your metabolism, maintain strength, and build results that last — during and after GLP-1 use.

Without the right support, many people experience:

— Muscle loss
— Low energy
— Nutrient deficiencies
— Digestive issues
— Weight regain after stopping

This isn’t a medication problem — it’s a missing strategy problem.

I focus on:

— Maintaining muscle mass through adequate protein and strength-based training
— Supporting bone health so your body stays strong and resilient
— Ensuring proper nutrient intake, even with reduced appetite
— Optimising gut health to support digestion and long-term metabolic function

Why This Approach Works

Most people focus only on weight loss. I focus on how your body functions during the process — so the results you get are actually sustainable.

This is your opportunity to:

—Build habits that last

—Strengthen your body while you're losing weight

—Avoid the common rebound cycle

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most nutrition programs give you a plan to follow—what to eat, what to avoid, and hope it works.

    That’s not how I work.

My approach is built around a structured framework called the CORE5 Method™—designed to support the five key systems that impact your energy, digestion, metabolism, hormones, and overall health.

    What makes this work:

Strategic — I look at the full picture—your digestion, blood sugar, hormones, sleep, and stress—to understand what’s actually driving your symptoms.

Personalized — Your plan is built around your body, your lifestyle, and your goals—no templates or generic protocols.

Integrated — I don’t just focus on food. I address the systems that impact how your body functions, including your nervous system, recovery, and daily habits.

Results-Focused — The goal isn’t short-term improvement. It’s creating changes that last—and a body that continues to work for you long-term.

  • Unlike Functional Nutritionists, lab work is not required upfront to work with me. If you are interested in specific labs, we’ll discuss your symptoms and concerns, then assess which labs will be of most benefit for you.

  • I use a range of functional labs depending on your needs:

    • Gut microbiome and stool testing

    • Hormone and Adrenal testing (DUTCH, saliva & urine)

    • Food sensitivity testing

    • Environmental toxins & heavy metal panels

    • Micronutrient tests

What types of health issues do you specialize in?

    • Digestion and gut health

    • Hormone balance

    • Metabolism and weight management

    • Energy, mood, and sleep

    • Inflammation and detoxification

    • GLP-1 support (both natural production and support while on medication)

  • Absolutely. I don’t replace medical care - I complement it. My clients work with me in collaboration with their doctors, therapists or other healthcare providers. I’m happy to coordinate with your medical team for a well-rounded approach.

  • Everyone is different, but many clients notice improvements within the first few weeks — things like better energy, digestion, or sleep. Deeper healing (such as hormone balance or gut repair) often takes several months. We focus on sustainable progress so the changes you make stick long-term.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.

  • Follow ups are where the transformation unfolds. Together we:

    • Track your progress

    • Troubleshoot challenges

    • Adjust your nutrition, supplements and lifestyle plan

    • Teach you how to understand your body so you can feel confident long-term

Real change takes time and I want it to last, ideally the minimum amount of time I work with clients is 3-months. The initial consultation helps me decide which program length and structure is best for your goals.

  • I measure progress through:

    • Symptom and lifestyle tracking

    • Ongoing coaching and adjustments

    • Lab testing and retesting when appropriate

    • Your lived experience – energy, digestion, sleep, weight, mood and more

  • I do not prescribe GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide or Tirzepatide since these should always be provided by a licensed medical doctor. If you’re interested, I work with a physician who does and I will connect you.

    My focus is two-fold:

    1. Supporting clients who are already on GLP-1s and want to maximize results safely.

    2. Helping clients who want to naturally enhance GLP-1 production through nutrition, lifestyle, gut health and exercise.

  • Sometimes. I always start with food as the foundation, but targeted supplements can provide a short-term boost. When your system is out of balance, targeted supplementation can help fill nutritional gaps and restore harmony.

I only recommend professional-grade, third party tested products and have a provider account with Fullscript so you can purchase supplements at a small discount.

  • No. I am not a medical doctor and do not prescribe medications. I focus on nutrition, lifestyle, mindset and holistic support, often working alongside your healthcare team.

  • I do not bill insurance. Some clients are able to use HSA/FSA funds for my services. I can provide invoices if your provider requires documentation.

  • I do not work with strict vegan diets. Holistic nutrition requires flexibility to help the body heal, and some nutrients are difficult – or impossible – to get without animal foods.

If you are open to adjusting your diet and incorporating the foods your body needs, we can create a plan that works for you. My focus is on healing first, not rigid labels

  • I currently work virtually with clients nationwide, so you can access holistic nutrition and lifestyle coaching from anywhere.

I live in Austin, TX and can meet in-person with clients in the Austin area.
